During a pre-show jam session, Mef and The Roots performed the classic “Protect Ya Neck” for the crowd. Yeah, I’m going to need to go to one of these tapings preferably sooner than later.

Guess who’s back. The duo of Mr. Mef and Funk Doc have something cooking in the oven, which we all will see in the near future. Extra points for playing Kurupt’s classic West Coast jam “We Can Freak It,” too.
Last night Method Man made his way to Toronto and rocked for a wild crowd at Sound Academy. Check the clip above as he kicks off his set with a performance of “M.E.T.H.O.D. Man.” Shouts to Walder on the footage.

As you know Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Method Man dropped a collaborative project called Wu-Massacre, with the cover art and (at the time) a comic book mini-series done by designer Alex Haldi and illustrator legend Chris Bachalo. The graphic novel never materialized, but now some of the pictures have hit the Internets. Head to ANIMAL for more shots of the whole thing.
