Nicole Scherzinger Announces U.S. Album Release Date

After having success with her debut album, Killer Love, & its two singles “Poison” & “Don’t Hold Your Breath” in the UK, Nicole Scherzinger is finally ready to release her much-delayed debut album in the U.S.  Find out more details after the jump…

Interscope Records announced that, Killer Love, will be released in the U.S. on August 16th. The album will include current single “Right There” featuring 50 Cent as well as her U.K. singles “Poison” & “Don’t Hold Your Breath.” The album is also expected to include four to five brand new tracks including a collaboration with R. Kelly & Snoop Dogg called “Peep Show.” Nicole spoke to Rap-Up approximately what to expect from the US version of the album:
“At the time I was doing my U.K. album, I was really into more dance-inspired music, which is astonishing & so much pleasant for Europe. For the U.S., I wanted to go back to my roots where I started, a little bit more urban sounding ’cause that’s still a very huge part of me as well, & I wanted to make sure I wove that into the album.”

Look out for Nicole when she hits the stage to perform her new single “Right There” with 50 Cent on American Idol May 19th & this fall she will co-host “The X Factor” on FOX.
