What’s In Store For Outkast’s 20th Anniversary!?

While Big Boi and Andre 3000 are coming up on the 20th Anniversary of their Outkast debut Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, Sir Lucious Left Foot sits down with Big Boy on Power106 to reveal he and 3 Stacks have been “discussing some things” as far as what they plan on doing. Nothing is set in stone, but the smile that hits Big Boi’s face at the 2:05 mark has the inner-Outkast stan in me trippin’ in excitement. Living in Vegas and never really able to check shows before I started doing this HipHopDX/2DopeBoyz thing, I never had a chance to check them live. Something that has always haunted me as a true fan. And while new music would obviously be astonishing (if both of them WANT to do it), a reunion show would be something I’d pay top dollar to see. A dopeboy can hope!

Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime Rehearsal (Video)

Jeremih – All The Time (rmx) f. Lil Wayne

You ever listen to the radio version of Wayne’s “Love Me?” The entire second verse is blanked out, it seems. Anyways, that disturbing trend continues with his guest verse on Mr. Birfday Secks’ reworking of his Late Nights single, “Fuck U All The Time,” off his upcoming Thumpy Johnson mixtape, dropping in April.

Your 2Dope Opinion: Do You Want a G-Unit Reunion?

So what does Game do when Banks is saying nada, Yayo misses the old days, 50 Cent thinks a reunion is “unlikely” and Buck is locked up? Starts a petition for an official G-Unit reunion on Facebook (w/ Swagg-Ink) of course.

The petition has just under 5k signatures at the time of this post so if you’d like to add to that click here. My question is this though, would y’all actually want to see these guys back together? I was unquestionably a fan of them back in the day but times have changed. Do you think the changes each artist has gone through would mess with their chemistry? Would it even be an ‘honest’ reunion or just a ploy for money? Let us know your thoughts on the whole thing in the comment section below.

Problem – My Last Molly Song Ever, I Promise f. Trinidad James & Gunplay

We all know how unoriginal mainstream hip hop can be. It seems every song that makes its way to the radio and/or club features a reference to the “popular” drug of choice, Molly. Enlisting Trinidad James and Gunplay, Problem vows to never make a song about it again (after this one, of course). A little something to listen to while the LA native puts the final touches on his next project, The Separation. Props OS.
