Bring It Back: Sage Francis – Makeshift Patriot [2001]

One month after 9/11, Sage Francis released a song in an effort to “combat the fear-culture being drummed up by the US Media & Government.” Now, considering the recent events that have occurred, it’s rather fitting to bring this one back.

Joe Budden Denies Slaughterhouse Album Title

Yesterday, MTV claimed that Slaughterhouse’s upcoming Sophomore album was going to be entitled Monster. Joey says they are “dead as wrong” (1:11 mark). Ahem… who cares approximately an album title, just make sure the music is dope. Right? Anyways, shouts to IFWT on clearing things up.

Lloyd Banks Speaks On Reuniting With Game & Young Buck (Video)

File this under “Good Luck With That.” Lloyd spoke to Funk Flex on his new car show approximately any possibilities of Jayceon & David coming back into the G-Unit fold.

Juicy J – A Zip & A Double Cup (prod. Lex Luger) (Video)

IGNORANT. BRILLIANCE.

J Da Juiceman & Lex Luger’s Rubberband Business 2 will drop this summer. Expect a lot of brain cells (including mine) to voluntarily perish after listening to this when it does so.

Capone – OD f. Havoc

Last thing I saw was Capone venting to someone due to Prodigy’s comments approximately him in his book. Hopefully that riff is just a short-term thing, especially with this track featuring Prodigy’s Mobb Deep brother in arms.

Mickey Factz – Fearless

I’d comment on this, yet I’m having the best conversation evAr with friends right now…

“I decided to start off May by just putting some thoughts out for the fans. I’m working on a lot of things yet sometimes it feels like I’m not doing anything. So to quench the thirst of the people, I will be releasing Fearless which is a first of 7 releases with streamless conscious flowing. Aka a freestyle that’s actually thought out & well written.

First one is my attempt at tackling Drake’s Fear. I called up a couple of my fans & let them hear the verse as well as even putting a conf call # out to cipher with them. I have a deep appreciation for my followers & I hope this accepted by them.” Mickey

Random Axe Ish (Video)

I am not a Photographer Nor a Videographer. I respect their art enough to not dabble. But when i was ask to attend the Random Axe video shoot I grabbed my Cannon T2i & shot what I could. I am Truly a huge fan of all three individual work, so you could only imagine what the album sounds like. Plus, being around Sean is Priceless no pun intended. – DJ Prince

Warren G: Pill Pusher (Video)

Of course he’s not really a dealer, yet like his 213 cohort Snoop Dogg Warren has jumped on the “will shill for food” wagon with these commercials which I know are getting play late at night on KTLA Channel 5 out in Southern California. I would have pushed the RAoF on these, yet I’m not gonna front: the faux-seriousness of these commercials had me laughing with it, not at it.

The above video is all kinds of [||]-happy, however…
